A high quality, viscous silicone-based insulating oil prevents spark discharge, stops leakage current and eliminates corona effect. It is water-repellent and therefore very effective as a moisture barrier, with excellent dielectric properties.
CHARACTERISTICS
- High insulation capacity with a dielectric strength of 12 KV/mm
- Can be used at temperatures ranging from -50 °C to +200 °C.
- Insulating film remains stable regardless of temperature
- Particularly suitable as a non-hardening insulating film
- Water-repellent
APPLICATIONS
- As a lubricant in electronics where corona effects/leakage and spark discharge must be prevented
- As a lubricant for cable and wiring laying
- As a lubricant in the production of plastics and conglomerates
- As a release agent in the molding of plastic and rubber parts
HOW TO USE IT
- Use the aerosol container for easy application, avoiding energized electrical equipment and ignition sources.
- For large-scale uses, consider bulk form with higher flash point dilution and longer drying time.
- Avoid applying to parts with lacquer, adhesive or electrical contacts so as not to increase the contact resistance.
- Apply as a release agent on suitable surfaces.
